Pat Forrest began her career in the Federal Government, but then moved to the high tech sector where she worked for almost 25 years. Her background was mainly in Contract Management working with corporate lawyers and drafting sales and licensing agreements for small to large sized corporate clients. Pat believes that good customer service skills should always be a top priority for all clients. When her last high tech company was bought out by IBM, Pat knew that it was time to make a career change and the real estate profession was the obvious choice.
In 1984 Pat married an Ottawa Valley man. They have a daughter, Jackie, and they’ve lived in the Valley since they got married. Pat and her husband built their first house on a vacant 5 acre parcel of land in West Carleton. They both learned a lot about buying a building lot and understanding the requirements of the Ontario Building Code. Since that time they’ve lived in a beautiful Viceroy home on the Ottawa River, then moved to a 98 acre horse farm, and are poised to move to a vacant 34 acre parcel of land that backs onto the Bonnechere River and build from scratch again!
Over the years Pat has experienced buying and selling many different types of property for her own personal use including an off-grid 100 acre recreational lot, a beautiful timeshare at a ski resort, a detached bungalow for rental purposes, a condo in West Ottawa, an older small wartime home needing upgrades and repairs, and a country lot that was used for camping with her horses.
There’s more to choosing a good real estate professional than just choosing the brand they work for. Why not consider working with a brokerage that always puts its customers first and all corporate decisions are make right here in the Ottawa Valley! Pat’s goal is to always think of her clients first, and she aims to always meet or exceed any expectations her clients have of her. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Pat to help you buy or sell a property. Contact Pat directly at 613-433-6569 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
